Angulus Ridet is situated on the edge of Montcresson, a small village which is only 13km from the next bigger town, Montargis in the Loiret department.
The house is in a beautiful park-like garden of 1,5 ha which stretches along the Canal of Briare.
The house was built in the 19th century. According to different sources its park was part of the gardens of an ancient abbey which was built , like the local church, in the 12th century.
The Scandibérique runs along the canal and is only a few meters away from our place. The Scandibérique is part of the longest European cycle path. It starts in Trondheim in Norway and goes to the famous Pilgrimage town Saint Jacques di Compostelle.
It’s nice to explore our region by bike.
The bedrooms are decorated in a mixed style, combining contemporary decor and antique furniture to keep the authentic charm of the house.
The double rooms and the family-suite have their own private bathroom with bathtub.
Free private car park and bike rental on request.
The continental breakfast is served in the dining-room or , in sunny weather , on the terrace . We use a lot of organic products as well as home-made jam and fruits from our garden.
The famous river “Loire” is at only 30min from our B&B. You can visit beautiful small towns like “Briare” or “Giens” as well as the castle of Sully.
